GENERAL LABOURERS REQUIRED
We are currently seeking casual staff to assist with ongoing event work. Former experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
The role will include a range of tasks but will not be limited to…
- General labouring as required
- Install and removal of floor coverings
- Furniture install and set up
- Build/dismantle of Exhibition booths
- Marquee erection and dismantle
- Loading/unloading trucks
STAFF REQUIREMENTS
- White card
- Be physically fit
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Clear communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Availability to travel interstate occasionally
- A forklift or High-Risk Work licence are not essential but will be held in high regard.
- Punctuality and reliability
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

MARQUEE INSTALLATION/DISMANTLE SUPERVISOR REQUIRED
We are currently seeking an experienced supervisor to join our team. The primary requirement will be supervision/management of your crew during the build and dismantling of marquees/temporary structures for our clients.
- You will require the ability to work and lead in a team environment.
- You will need clear communication skills to liaise between clients, staff and other contractors on-site where required.
- The ability to interpret plans/drawings specifications.
- Ensure staff comply with OHS and site relevant requirements.
- Ensure that both client and Clearspan company policies and procedures are met at all times.
- Maintain staff timesheets are correct and submitted to administration when due.
- You will be responsible for managing the induction of crews onsite.
- Responsible for prestart/toolbox meetings.
- Ensure tools/equipment and plant are kept in good order.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will need to
- Be fully vaccinated against covid.
- Be physically fit for a hands-on role.
- Be punctual and reliable- an absolute must.
- Have a white card, forklift licence and relevant High-Risk Work licence (EWP)
- Have a manual drivers licence.
- Be available for occasional interstate travel.
- Be able to work flexible hours.
- Have great people and customer skills.
- Possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
